The 2024 Redcliffe Peninsula Chamber of Commerce Business Awards are the perfect opportunity to show case the achievements of businesses operating in Redcliffe and surrounding areas including Clontarf, Woody Point, Margate, Redcliffe, Scarborough, Newport, Rothwell and Deception Bay.

Culminating in an awards night that will be a premier event with businesses and business leaders being recognised for their outstanding achievements throughout the year.

Who Can Enter?

  • Any business operating in Redcliffe and surrounding suburbs,
  • A sole trader, recognised business partner, legally constituted business, company, businessperson, incorporated body or a department or division of any business enterprise.

How to Enter and Rules for Entry?

  • You can nominate yourself or you can be nominated by someone else,
  • Read and understand the rules and guidelines,
  • Indicate clearly the category you wish to enter,
  • Submit your nomination no later than 4pm on 17th August, and
  • Finalists will be declared before the end of September.

  1. Retail Business Award ~ Sponsored by TBA
  2. Small/Home Business Award ~ Sponsored by TBA
  3. Industry Business Award ~ Sponsored by TBA
  4. Customer Service Award ~ Sponsored by TBA
  5. Community Service Award ~ Sponsored by TBA
  6. New Business Encouragement Award for a business that has been established since the end of the 2023 financial year ~ Sponsored by TBA

Judges and Judging Criteria

  • A panel of judges will be invited to review your nominations.
  • The awards are for excellence and the judges will be looking to the nomination information supplied for evidence of outstanding initiative, achievement, enthusiasm, and dedication to excellence.
  • The judges will also look for commitment to the Region.
  • If the judges believe that the entry has been placed in the wrong category, they reserve the right to suggest entry into another category, without prejudicing the entrant.
  • Judges reserve the right not to make an award if the circumstances do not warrant such an award.
  • The decision of the judges is final, and no correspondence will be entered into.
  • Once your nomination has been submitted it cannot be changed.
  • Finalists will be contacted as soon as judging has been completed.

Confidentiality and Disclaimer

All information provided by entrants is confidential and will not be released without the entrant’s permission.  Judges and members of the awards committee and secretariat will observe the requirements of confidentiality and will declare and avoid any possible conflicts of interest.
